Radioactive Materials by Air

Radioactive Materials by Air

HP Training & Consultancy has developed a course that meets the mandatory requirements of The International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) procedures for the safe transport of Radioactive Material. These procedures are published in "Regulations for the Safe Transport of Radioactive Material" (IAEA SSR-1) which is incorporated into the ICAO Technical Instructions and the IATA DGR.

The course concludes with a written examination which entitles successful candidates to a certificate of competence that is valid for two years. Before the certificate expires they must undertake retraining . If this period is exceeded, delegates must stop sending Radioactive Material.

These courses are fully approved by the UK Civil Aviation Authority, Approval Number 019568.
